Seoul to Begin Two Night Bus Routes

Have you ever had trouble going back home from Gangnam or Jongro after 12am because you can’t find late-night buses or taxis? No worries! Finally, the Seoul Metropolitan government has launched two lines of night buses crossing the city. Who’s going to hate this seriously?

These are the stops on each route:

N26 (Orange): Gangseo – Gaehwasan – Songjeong – Gangseo-gu Office – Yeomchang – Hapjeong – Hongdae – Sinchon – Chungjeongro – Seodaemun – Jongro – Dongdaemun – Cheongnyangni – Jungnanggyo – Sangbong – Jungnang

N37 (Yellow): Jin-gwan – Gupabal – Yeonsinnae – Bulgwang – Hongje – Dongnimmun – Seodaemun – Jongro – Baek Hospital – Hannam – Sinsa – Gangnam – Yangjae – Daechi – Irwon – Suseo – Garak Market – Jangji – Songpa

The first three months will be for a test run and the fee will be the same (1,050 KRW / 0.93 USD). Afterwards, it will be increased up to (1,850 KRW / 1.64 USD). The buses will run every 35 to 40 minutes until 4.55 in the morning.

The government is planning to add 6 more routes from August.

Red: Dobongsan – Mia – Dongdaemun – Namdaemun – Yeouido – Yeongdeungpo –  Guro – Onsu

Green: Gangdong – Cheonho – Dongdaemun – Euljiro – Seoul Station – Noryangjin – Seoksu

Light Blue: Sanggye – Cheongnyangni – Dongdaemun – Jongro – Gangnam – Jamsil – Songpa

Blue: Gangdong – Jamsil – Gangnam – Express Bus Terminal – Yeongdeungpo – Hongdae – Susaek – Eunpyeong

Black: Yangcheon – Sillim – Sadang – Gangnam – Samseong – Yeongdong Bridge – Nowon

Purple: Sadang – Express Bus Terminal – Banpo Bridge – Lotte Main Store – Jongro – Sinseoldong – Korea University – Dobong-ro – Dodongsan
